A Place of Comfort and Care

When a child is seriously ill or injured, families often travel far from home to access specialised medical care.

Ronald McDonald House helps ease the practical and emotional pressures families face by providing a place to stay inside the hospital, close to their child’s bedside.

Each year, hundreds of families stay with us. Parents, legal guardians and siblings have space to rest, spend time together and connect with other families who understand what they are going through.

What Families will Find at Our House

Our House has 27 private family bedrooms designed to offer comfort, dignity and privacy.

Families also have access to:

  • A shared kitchen and dining area
  • A family lounge
  • A children’s playroom and games room
  • A library
  • Laundry facilities
  • Comfortable spaces for rest and quiet time
  • Support from our caring team and community

Every part of the House helps families feel safe and supported, leaving them free to focus on being present for their child.
