About RMHC

Who We Are

Established in 2012, Ronald McDonald House South Africa is an independent non-profit organisation and part of the global Ronald McDonald House network.

We work alongside hospital partners, donors, volunteers and communities to provide practical support for families during their child’s medical care.

Our programmes respond to local needs, with a focus on comfort, dignity and family connection.

purpose

Our Purpose

We support families so they remain close and involved during their child’s treatment.

Through our programmes, we help ease the everyday pressures of being away from home, including finding accommodation, accessing meals and having somewhere to rest.

Family Stays expresses this purpose: helping families be there for one another when a child needs care.
