Our Lactation Centre recognises these individual needs. Here, mothers receive support in an environment centred on their comfort and dignity.
Caring for a baby also means recognising the needs of the person caring for them.
Our centre supports mothers of babies receiving care at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, including those in the neonatal intensive care unit.
While the hospital team looks after each baby’s medical needs, the Lactation Centre provides dedicated space and support for mothers.
This is part of our commitment to family-centred care: recognising the needs of children and the people who love them.
